I have somehow always liked this picture, and its perspective of the world.
Taken from inside the bathroom in a cottage at Blue Mountains, Sydney Australia, this high-ceiling air-well view intrigued me tremendously - in our own little confined spaces, where our eyes are often focussed on the immediate and attainable, things can sometimes look so dark and ordinary. Yet when we turn our eyes upwards, that tiny sliver of blue interspersed with passing white clouds present that timeless opportunity to momentarily leave our earthbound existence behind and transcend into that suspended time & space where we are found to be floating... and free...
